Two aides of the Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko, resigned from their position on Wednesday, November 2, multiple reports said.
The aides - Oladun Aderonke Morolayo, Special Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters, and Victor Ojo, Special Assistant to Mimiko on Mobilization, were said to have defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
This is coming ahead of the November 26 governorship election in the state, which has plunged the state Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) into crisis.
It was gathered that the two were leaders of the PDP in their respective constituencies in the State.
